What is Reiki?
Reiki, meaning "universal life force" in Japanese, is a healing practice that facilitates the flow of energy to address physical, spiritual, mental, and even financial challenges. Its roots lie in Japan and Tibet, primarily through the work of Usui Mikao and his students. As a non-harmful, alternative practice, Reiki complements traditional medicine by addressing various symptoms that cause discomfort and imbalance. As "universal energy," Reiki can be accessed globally, offering wellness to recipients in-person or remotely.
How does it work?
Reiki is thought to balance the "biofield" of energy surrounding and penetrating the physical body. Practices like acupuncture, qigong, shiatsu, yoga/pranayama, and Healing Touch also work with this subtle vibration of biofield energy to restore balance. Research from the Center for Reiki Research and studies like "The Hidden Messages in Water" by Masaru Emoto show the effects of energy fields on well-being, supporting the efficacy of Reiki.
My Reiki Approach
My Reiki practice utilizes claircognizance (clear knowing), clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), and intuitive guidance from my spiritual guidance team, as well as the client’s, to address emotional and energetic blockages from this lifetime and others. During sessions, I additionally focus on clearing any energetic chords and karmic contracts tied to other individuals that may be hindering you on your journey. This holistic approach ensures a deeper level of healing and transformation.
What happens during a Reiki session?
Each Reiki session is unique, lasting 15-45 minutes. During a session, you’ll relax and focus on breathing while I intuitively guide several hand positions to facilitate the absorption of Reiki energy. Crystal healing may also be used to balance Chakras and cleanse your auric field. Post-session, I often share intuitive insights gained during the process. Experiences vary; some clients feel pulsing, warmth, or vibrations, while others may not notice physical sensations. It’s common to feel very relaxed or tired afterward as your body enters the "rest and digest" phase of healing. Multiple sessions are often recommended for significant benefits.
How did you get trained?
I am trained seven generations from the founder of Reiki, under Violet Hatagan of Wild Violet Oracle. My Reiki lineage includes Usui Mikao, Kanichi Taketomi, Koyama Kimiko, Doi Hiroshi, Frans Stiene, Kerri Draper, and Violet Louise Hategan.
When will I see the results?
Results vary; some clients see immediate improvements, while others require multiple sessions over time. Most clients feel an immediate sense of well-being, calm, lightness, and openness. Feel free to contact me for more details.
Are you covered by medical insurance?
No, I am not on any medical insurance panels.
How often should I get Reiki treatment?
The frequency of Reiki sessions depends on your needs and preferences. Some clients seek frequent sessions for ongoing issues, while others may opt for occasional sessions as needed.
